This trip will be open to both exchange students and languange students at the end of June before students’ depature to their home country.
Escorts will meet students at the airport and accompanied them to the hotel C-Time's Beijing office. After the check-in at hotel students will have a short free time. Then we will have a town walk nearby before the nice dinner if time is not too late.
Our trip will begin with the Urban Planning Museum to learn the evolution of old Beijing and new Beijing with the fast development. Before heading to the Olympic Venues we will stroll on the Qianmen Street and have a walk around Tiananmen Square. You will also get the chance to see the Grand National Theatre - the Center for the Perfoming Art. Then we will go to the Olympic Venues (Bird’s Nest and Water Cube).In the afternoon we will boat in the Olympic Green Park..
We will hike on the Great Wall Mutianyu of China. On the way back we will visit the Ming Tombs, the Royal Mausoleum of Ming which comprise a complex of mausoleums for 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Here we will step inside of one of the palace undearground where the Empror and the Empress was buried. Then we will have dinner with Peking Roast Duck after returning Beijing.
This morning we will get a bird's eye view of morden Beijing at the top of CCTV Tower. After lunch we will visit the Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum to learn more about architecture of China. Shopping time will be in the late afternoon in Hongqiao Market, a famous marketplace for both foreigners and local people.
In the morning you will visit Capital Museum of China. Then you will see Prince Gong’s Palace, where used to be the residence of an intellectual in Qing dynasty. After that you will visit the beautiful Houhai lake area and experience the pedicab tour through Beijing’s traditional alleyways (Hutong). There will be farewell party in the evening.
Exchange students will be transported to Airport with escorts.
